Building Services Engineering

The building services engineer’s role is increasingly fundamental to building design as projects become more sophisticated in terms of sustainability and efficiency, together with legislation changes and user requirements.

The services design makes use of our internal 3D (BIM) software to achieve improved levels of coordination and reduce project risk, together with a wide range of thermal modelling, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), vertical transportation and general MEP services software products.

The services we provide from Partner level downwards are focused on delivering building services engineering solutions appropriate to the project brief together with embracing the sustainability requirements through all stages. We provide consultancy on mechanical, electrical, public health, fire protection and vertical transportation services. All of the related specialist work areas such as thermal modelling, energy strategies, lift traffic analysis, plant replacement, Building Regulations Part L compliance and the like are undertaken by in-house staff.

Surveys & Audits

Surveys are key elements of our services which are undertaken for purchasers, tenants and vendors. The purpose of a survey would be to establish the general condition of the building services installations, together with the quality of workmanship, materials and compliance with codes of practice applicable at the time of installation.
