‘Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow’ is this year’s theme, recognising how women around the world are responding to climate change.   

We want to celebrate all the women who work at Watkins Payne, then as the theme is sustainability, we would like to specifically highlight Sarah Wright and Melissa Hughes who form a part of our sustainability team. Their time is spent driving the sustainable agenda through assessment methodologies, such as BREEAM and WELL, carbon analysis and reduction measures along with circular economy to reduce the impact on climate change for existing and future projects.   

To mark this day, we will be raising money for the UN Women charity as support is needed more than ever to help the women in Ukraine in these terrible times.
