We’re proud to have played a role in achieving a significant milestone significantly in reducing carbon at St Andrew Street, London. Our Carbon and Sustainability Consultants were able to assist in assessing the carbon reduction of the project, which saw the installation of re-used steelwork to create new floors and terraces. Heyne Tillet Steel were able to work with specialists to see that around 80% of the new steelwork was reused from recently demolished buildings, following a stock matching exercise that adopted a circular economy approach while reducing embodied carbon.

Our team have also worked with the rest of the design team to reduce the carbon impact further with measures such as reclaimed second hand raised access floor panels and alternative internal perimeter wall linings being incorporated.
