61 Whitehall is the home of the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and has been for over 100 years. It recently underwent an extensive refurbishment and upgrade to meet RUSI’s current day needs and operational requirements. The refurbishment of the grade II* listed building now also incorporates an expansive south facing dome.

The renovation prioritises energy efficiency with air source heat pumps, LED lighting and natural ventilation, making it a model for sustainable design.
