We are thrilled that The Northcliffe has achieved sectional completion. The works included the extension of the existing building and complete refurbishment of the building services installations. Where possible, existing services and pipework routes were retained to avoid wastage. The update has given the building a new lease of life moving forward.

Watkins Payne was responsible for the mechanical, electrical, public health, vertical transportation and sustainability design and worked closely with JRA Architects and Waterman Group to give the building the semi-exposed finish, which helps give the perception of height as well as hiding some of the services.

The building is on track to achieve BREEAM ‘Outstanding’, WELL enabled and owing to the retention of the building form and some services low embodied carbon emissions.
