We are proud to have assisted with the planning application associated with the extension and refurbishment of Colmore Gate, which will provide 23 floors of office accommodation in the tower and 9 floors in the podium, totalling approximately 315,000 ft2 NIA.
The project will benefit from new mechanical, electrical, public health, fire protection and vertical transportation services to provide a premium office space in the heart of Birmingham.
The building will provide ‘best in class’ sustainable features and aims to achieve BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Core Platinum, ActiveScore Platinum and RESET certified. It is subject to a whole life carbon and circular economy assessment to see that the re-use and reduction of carbon is maximised.
The planning application was submitted in August 2023 and we look forward to our continued involvement in the project pending positive planning feedback.
