The 7,600ft² area of 7 Bermondsey Street near London Bridge Station was refurbished to high quality office accommodation, for which Watkins Payne supplied building services engineering and vertical transportation engineering. The refurbished area is spread across basement and ground floor.

All new building services were installed, using a heat recovery ventilation system to provide fresh air, and air source heat pumps (ASHP) for heating and cooling the office space.

The exposed services strategy adopted allowed the space to be more open and with the platform lift more accessible as well. The suspended linear LED light fittings and controls are installed which considered occupant comfort and also reduce buildings energy consumption.
