Quay Place in Birmingham is situated next to the Utilita Arena which is a sport, exhibition and a concert venue. The works consisted of a new structure to contain the main reception, meeting room, changing facilities and a café for the site. There were also works to the landscaping to provide outdoor seating area outside the café as well as seating along the Canalside.

Heat recovery ventilation unit provide the fresh air to the various rooms and vitiated air is extracted and discharge to the atmosphere via the car park area. Cooling is provided to the reception, meeting room and the café via split units located within the ground floor plant room. Central electric water heater meets the hot water demand generated by the showers and other sanitary appliances. LED lighting is provided throughout with access control system to provide security to users of the changing facilities.
