Watkins Payne continued their involvement as building services consultants at the Tower Bridge Piazza with the refurbishment of offices at 51 Lafone Street, mirroring work recently completed at 8 Gainsford Street.
A number of smaller office units were combined into a single large area providing 14,500ft2 of office space over the basement, ground and first floors. The old and dated interiors were completely refurbished in line with modern office standards.
High level exposed services installation with variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems and suspended direct/indirect LED light fittings have been provided to give a clean and crisp appearance against the exposed brick walls.
The office space was let to a tenant prior to practical completion.
