As part of our approach to sustainability we employ sustainability engineers who are qualified BREEAM, Home Quality assessors (formally Code for Sustainable Homes) and WELL / FitWel accredited professionals.
Both Sustainability engineers and Building Services engineers work in an integrated environment creating an efficient team that can learn and disseminate information to each other easily throughout all stages of a project.
Our assessors are BRE certified to undertake BREEAM New Construction which covers offices, industrial units, retail, education, healthcare, prisons, law courts and multi-residential accommodation. For refurbishment and fit-out projects the practice can also offer BREEAM assessments for commercial and residential schemes.
Home Quality mark (previously Code for Sustainable Homes) scheme offers a methodology for sustainable construction for the residential market. Our Sustainability engineers are BRE certified to offer this assessment.
The practice understands the importance of placing health and wellness at the centre of building and performance. Our assessors can provide the WELL standard accredited professional role on projects to supplement the long standing capability of delivering buildings under the BREEAM methodology in a commercially viable manner.
Building Services Engineering
The building services engineer’s role is increasingly fundamental to building design as projects become more sophisticated in terms of sustainability and efficiency, together with legislation changes and user requirements.
Surveys & Audits
Surveys comprise key elements of our services with them being undertaken for purchasers, tenants and vendors. The surveys can range from condition assessments through to validation tasks and PPM schedules, along with dilapidations.
